Earlier in the season!.....
Show season is well underway in Texas and the “Caruth Team” is more than up for the challenge!
With three shows under their belt their next stop will be Region 9 in Forth Worth in June.

“We are so excited about our show string this season,” says Tracy. “The horses are all coming together just at the right time! We have so many “Nap” kids coming out this years, that it is like a new beginning for all of us!”

“Our first show,” says Tracy, “was the Houston Livestock Show and boy was it a wild ride!” admits trainer Jennifer Jones, “it was tough both physically and mentally. You came, unloaded, started showing the next day, showed all day and into the night, and got up and did it all over again, and they had to tear down, load and be gone by 10:00 that some night; then drive five hours to get home! There was nowhere to work and you could only use the arena at very odd times, but we took 6 horses and came home with 6 blues and 5 championships. All classes were really big and that’s hard to fins anywhere.” Says Jennifer.

The Houston Livestock Show champions were:

CA TIME MACHINE+ with Tracy in Half Arab Hunter Amateur Owner to Ride

CA TAKE MY HEART with Tracy in Half Arab English Amateur Owner to Ride
BCR MANDELEY with Tracy in Arabian Country Amateur Owner to Ride

CA NO SMALL AFFAIR with Jennifer in Half Arab English Open

MR MASTER FLASH with Jennifer in Half Arab Hunter Open

CA STYLIN++/ with Tracy in Half Arab Western Pleasure Amateur Owner to Ride

The show gave great prizes and prize money and the hospitality was the best they’d ever seen, anywhere! Of course they thought the judges were great as well!

The next show for the Caruth gang was the Cowtown Classic In Fort Worth, Texas. They took 9 horses and brought home 8 blues, 1 reserve champion and 5 championships.

The Cowtown Classic Champions were:

CA STYLIN++/ with Tracy in Half Arab Western Amateur Owner to Ride.

SUMTHINTOTOKABOUT with Tracy in Arabian English Amateur Adult Owner to Ride

CA TIME MACHINE+ with Tracy in Half Arab Hunter Adult Amateur Owner to Ride

MR MASTER FLASH with Jennifer in both Half Arab Hunter and Junior Horse

And Reserve Champion in his first trip to town and he’s only a three year old, was

TWC AWESOME with Ronnie in Arabian Western Junior Horse

The next stop for the “Caruth team” was the Mayfest Challenge in Fort Worth, and what a show it was! The team brought home 7 championships, 2 reserve championships and numerous blues as well!

The Mayfest Challenge Champions were:

CA TIME MACHINE+ with Tracy in Half Arab Hunter Adult Amateur Owner to Ride

MR MASTER FLASH with Jennifer in Half Arab Hunter Junior Horse Open

CA TAKE MY HEART with Jennifer in Half Arab English Junior Horse Open

BL BEYBERRY INNOCENSE with Jennifer in Half Arab Hunter Open

AMERONE with Tracy in Arabian Geldings Open & Amateur Owner to Handler

The Reserve Champions were:

CA NO SMALL AFFAIR with Tracy in Half Arab English Adult Amateur Owner to Ride

SUMTHINTOTOKABOUT with Tracy in Arabian English Adult Amateur Owner to Ride

CA STYLIN++/ also took home the blue in the Half Arab Ladies Sidesaddle against a tough field, and it was her first time to show in that division!

The next stop for the “Caruth Gang” is the Region 9 Championships in Fort Worth in June. Stay tuned for our exciting results!
